Clean Sweep

The East Rochester Clean Sweep is an event sponsored by the Town/Village of East Rochester and the ER Chamber of Commerce in which volunteers cleanup East Rochester, promote green solutions, and participate in enriching the community. 

This is a fun event for all and Team Captains are encouragement to reach out to your community neighbors and businesses to participate.   Each team will spend approximately 2 hours of service in their area.  There will be free refreshments, continental breakfast, and Pizza lunch for all volunteers.

Event Day Schedule
       8:00 to 8:30        Arrive, Check-in, Enjoy continental breakfast, take team picture
       8:30 to 9:00        Receive street assignments & cleaning supplies
       9:00 to 11:30     Work out in the Community
       11:45                     Return to the Eyer Building (Community Center) turn in leftover supplies
       12:00                     Enjoy Pizza Lunch as a group.  

 Ways a Business, Club, and Individual Can Participate 

1.    Clean Sweep Volunteers: 
Register On-line as a Team Captain or Individual Helper.  Volunteers must be at least 10 years old or have completed 4th grade. Volunteers will meet in the community center at 317 Main Street the morning of the event. 
 
2.    Clean Sweep Scrap Metal Collection:
Contribute your scrap metal  to the East Rochester Parks Department program the day of the event by bringing your scrap metal to the 317 Main Street parking lot.
