Silverball Saloon
Category:Restaurants, Bars, and Catering
Description: Part recreation room, part arcade, part restaurant/tavern, and all fun -- that's the Silverball Saloon!

Owned by Bruce and Kathie Nightingale, the Saloon features almost 20 pinball machines, along with a Galaga arcade game, a pool table, electronic darts, and a fairly rare ball bowling machine -- certainly the only one in the Rochester area.

The Nightingales have been collecting pinball and arcade machines for more than 30 years, and have an extensive collection in their Bloomfield home that "we thought we could use for an interesting, unique kind of business," Kathie says. Seeing as how she has bartending experience and he was a video game vendor for more than 20 years, "We thought combining a bar with an arcade was the way to go."

The Silverball Saloon menu includes several appetizers and sides (featuring the house specialty, funnel cake fries) ranging from $4-9, and a few entrees, which run from $8-10. There are also happy hour specials at the full bar from 4-7 pm daily, and free game play on occasion. The Nightingales also recently introduced Sunday night trivia contests.

In addition, the Saloon (which can host parties and special events) offers a 10% discount on food and beverages for police, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, military, and veterans with ID.

Our ER Chamber Business Directory is available for all our members.  Your business page can be revised any time, 24/7, by using your username and password to log in.  Business directory pages are visible year-round and are often ranked by search engines such as Google and Bing.

Members who haven't paid dues for the upcoming year on time will be given a grace period to catch up, and their directory business page will remain live through the end of our first-quarter grace period.  Once the grace period has ended, however, a non-paying member's directory page will automatically turn off until the member status has been updated with the ER Chamber.

"... I didn't make my Business Directory for over a year because I don't usually work with computers and was concerned about the entire process.  I finally sat down with the directions equaTEK sent me, and found it wasn't hard -- in fact, it was easy.  Sue Mayo-Smith was always there to answer my emails.  One thing I learned was that hitting the 'Update' button sent the information to the Chamber, and once approved, my work would be made live..."  --  Margy Richards, PCR Timing
