27th Annual Karknocker 5K Race & Walk - VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

Approximately 70 Volunteers are needed to help with this event! If you would like to volunteer, please select REGISTER above.. We will gather your contact information and your preference for the type of role you would like to fulfill.  A Volunteer Training event will be held on a date/location to be determined. You will receive your course assignment/location, a copy of the course map, and a safety vest (please return this at the completion of the event). The positions available for Volunteers are:

Registration Volunteer
Each Registration Volunteer will be located in the High School atrium and will on location from 7:30am-9am. You will be responsible for processing in-person registrations, confirming pre-registrations and dispensing Race Packs to all participants. 8 people are required for this role.

Course Volunteer
Each Course Volunteer will be positioned along the race course and will be responsible for the placement and removal of barriers intended to keep the race/walk participants safe from vehicular traffic. You will need to be in your position on the day of the event from 8:30am until the last race/walk participant has passed that location. 50 people are required for this role.

Finish Line Volunteer
Each Finish Line Volunteer will be located at the race/walk finish line near the ER High School and will dispense water, medals and other supplies to the race/walk participants as they complete the event. You will be in position from 8:45am until the final race/walk participant has crossed the finish line. 10 people are required for this role.
